What's your prediction as it relates to the possiblity of Abbot Labs layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

@nd1 Same in IL/TX - Med Dev. 60+ in Neuro. Seems like broad layoffs.
Med Dev - 100s impacts. Marketing/Sales/Finance.
Very sudden, unsure of more will come.
Seems across the board - May 1st were some of the first emails I see about it. Seems directly tied to stock falling. If the stock keeps falling expect another round.
May 20,2026 They just laid off people abruptly, without any warning (NY). Not sure if it was across the board or department specific.
More Layoffs just as expected. They really need to change executive management given the stock has lost some 20-30% and is in a downward spiral.

I just heard they are checking badge check ins at offices.
Might as well get rid of all Exact Sciences minus the sales reps. Don't keep any of the bioinformatics especially. They are a joke.
