They don't need to lay anyone off. People are leaving on their own and will accelerate after the bonus.
ES and EA are hemorrhaging Sr Mgrs and Managers. Theres even Director and above leaving. When they start leaving you know there's problems.
Did you hear them mention Glendale or see it on a PPT at all when you peaked in?
It's coming. Leadership all in closed door meetings with HR. Making the lists and checking it twice. Major reductions on the way.
Be prepared. Put everything on hold and coast till it's over. No sense ki-ling yourself if you're on the list.

@2ch incorrect lol. Before you make a statement like this you should understand how layoffs + warn actually works. The 1/12/26 notice you’re seeing is from the November layoffs. Those “laid off” in nov 2025 are still getting paid/benefite through 1/12/26 due to the warn act requiring that time period of notice - their severance doesn’t kick in/they’re not laid off until 1/12/26.
@15j let’s be totally honest - this site is helpful when the rumors are true, but like all rumors they’re only true about 10% of the time…
Layoffs will happen as soon as January. It's already on WARN.

There WILL be layoffs in March as there were last year and the year before. Might not be every team or group. But if your group wasn’t affected by this last go-round, you should’nt be surprised if it is this time. It’s how it is in this company.

FYI, this is just a generic post the ppl who run this website post on every company board a few times a year, I assume to drum up one activity on the board. The OP isn’t in anyway related to Mattel.
