Employee survey

Are you going to answer it? You can be sure it’s not anonymous. I’m considering answering it honestly for the first time in about 10 years because it might increase my chance of getting a package

If you feel they monitor for those who don't fill out the survey, just enter Neutral or Average or whatever the center selection for each question.

They will claim a "healing" process then turn around and try selling your division. Liars and cheats.

Managers and senior managers are forcing employees into a training room in order for them to get feedback as we've refused to do it in the past. This is the worst outcome for senior management as it something they are accountable for. Needless to say it just made matters worse as it made us feel it wasn't voluntary. So just browsing the web for fifteen minutes instead.

Here’s my survey question back to C suite. List the improvements you got done to address 6 years of surveys. Give 5 bullet points. Failure to respond will be taken as a resignation.

why invest energy into any survey unless leadership will actually do something positive with the results

I don't know how it works today. When they first started these surveys about 6 yrs ago or so, all the scores and comments were bundled by dept into a spreadsheet. I was shown this spreadsheet by a manager who thought some of the comments were hilarious. You couldn't see any names (or a filter was set) but he said it didn't take much to match the tone of a comment with a person. At this point I understood that this was not a top-secret system and there was no security involved (he could screenshot anything he wanted and maybe even download his own copy.) So assume that your responses are public somewhere.

The survey is pointless. Nothing has ever changed based on it. I have been brutally honest on them in the past and nothing

Would I get flagged if I don’t answer it?

I think this will affect your manager’s performance if you gave low rate. Usually, I give a high rate. Anyway, I don’t care.

Likely they will flag you as a bad-egg and simply make your life miserable enough to leave on your own.
