@2cs at times I wonder what the word "educated' really means. Definitely "soulless, cynical" but I wonder about "ignorant". I believe they know exactly what they are doing and they just don't care if it makes them $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
Looking but at my time at F5 I see that it was wasted - I could have been other places solving real issues and helping real people have better lives.
@26e F5 was built by dropouts and misfits. I know, I was one of them. The current leadership is soulless, cynical, and ignorant, but not uneducated.

The new VP in HR is backfilling a prior VP. That said, there are a lot of new senior director and VP roles in HR in particular. For a team of only about 150 people, they are super top heavy.
I recall in NGINX and XC most of PM were Directors many with no reports.

On my team we have a manager for roughly every 4 people. It's actually kinda comical. What do they all do?
