Seems like Thursday is the new Friday in Houston. Maybe most folks are only working Tues and Wed in the office.

@iip+1ftOKTQs what group??? They need to be called out
@mil, yea, that's what everyone who has been on this site claiming that they work better and get more things done from home have been doing. Pretty much just F-ing off and getting paid. Thanks for pointing it out. What the real comical lines have been are "why do we need to come in"??? We can just "w.o.r.k" from home like we have been doing, what's wrong with that? Why should we have to commute and come in now? ROTFLMAO!!!!!
Why bother RTW when you can sit at home in your pajamas with a cold one. After filling out spreadsheets and attending a meeting of some sort, you can spend the rest of the day binging on Netflix.
Not sure if this is true, I heard it from an upset HR admin, but there is an entire function within HR that does not need to return to the office. Every employee has gotten an exception to work from home. WTF. When I asked for an exception, I was told NO.
MW's "New Chevron" has taught everyone that your career future depends only on what you look like, that hard work is for chumps (that is, will go unrewarded), and, thanks to the pandemic, you can get all the work Chevron expects out of you in a fraction of a 40-hr week. RTW? Long commutes, a couple hours of work, a couple worthless meetings, long lunches, and schmoozing in the cafe all afternoon. Why bother?
Just wait. I fully expect that corporate will throw the hybrid schedule out in Q3 after the transition back is largely complete on Uncle Mike's orders as he works from home.
Thursday is the new Friday. Tuesday is the new Monday. Weekends are Friday-Sat-Sun-Mon.
Thursday’s are for tribbing and double dongs
Office space is a waste. Sell the towers and let people work anywhere.
Mind your business.
I'm in IT and I think there might be 5 people on my floor on any given day. They're probably busy doing job interviews at home.
