@OP DF hired AP and allowed him to run the market into a ditch. Similarly, he allowed HJ to hire indiscriminately in Texas, which is now a dumpster fire. For his efforts BL and DF promoted him!! At some point aren't these managers supposed to manage? DF's utter inability to listen to anyone or receive constructive feedback makes him a terrible choice to lead a regional market. On top of it-he really seems to enjoy the smell of his own farts.

@OP As mentioned, this is old news and the lawsuit was a disaster for the bank. Both from a legal perspective as the bank lost on almost all accounts and that the lawsuit ki-led morale in the office. The suit also showed such a nasty side of leadership, especially DF, HDP, and AP. For those that want to see the judges ruling, it can be found on the following site: https://law.justia.com/cases/federal/district-courts/minnesota/mndce/0:2025cv01926/224927/47/

@mh I don’t disagree, but I think you are forgetting that DF hired AP!

@jy Not trying to defend DF, he can be extremely condescending, but the problem in Minnesota is AP. AP adds no value, doesn’t understand the business, can’t talk to clients, isn’t out in the community, and has basically pi---d everyone off for the past 4 years. I can’t imagine there is another leader is USB that has wrecked a business as badly as AP has sc--wed up PWM in MN. It’s remarkable if you think about all of the talent that has left, the clients that have left, the fee’s we have waived, the clients that we have had to move to Ascent and other markets just to save them, and realize he is still the market leader. How is that possible?

@OP The Central Region is a particular mess. How does DF hang on to his job? Must be his native charm. Cough cough.

@gf PWM is a mess everywhere. But I’m glad to know it’s not just our market.

PWM in Minnesota is a complete mess. AP and HDP are a disaster, they went after these three hard for no reason. They thought they could scare everyone else, which is a great management tactic. Everyone else that has now left are “our friends” in an attempt to soften their message, but they made a huge mistake in making these three out to be bad people and suing them. Everyone in the office respected all three of them and know they are good people, but it just shows how scared they really were.

@OP This was from May, super old news. Read up on the case, the bank lost big time. The lawsuit completely backfired on management, 10+ people have since left PWM due to the toxic work culture, terrible leadership, and nonsense like this lawsuit. Most employees are secretly cheering on “JJD” and hoping they stick it to DF, HDP, and AP!

U.S. Bank will probably lose that case, lose it badly, particularly if they subpoena the CEO to testify
