Get Ready for DXC Culture Week

So says the Delivery EVP drinking his Brandy. Right, let us go:

  1. Get Ready for DXC Culture of CEO and his cronies lining their pockets with millions.
  1. Get Ready for DXC Culture of hard working grunts still not knowing if and when the tiny bread crumbs called rises will come.
  1. Get Ready for DXC Culture of customers getting squeezed in the name of COLA.
  1. Get Ready for DXC Culture of middle managers running this company to ground with their little fiefdoms of processes, tools and micro-management.
  1. Get Ready for DXC Culture of execs playing ball with another stellar org called ManU.
  1. Get Ready for DXC Culture of Shouty screaming at rank and file.
  1. Get Ready for DXC Culture of $5million lady with a great job of sending one survey email an year and claiming employees are all engaged.

You can dd anything else of this company's culture that excites you tremendously.

You didn't miss anything, what utter bullsh-t. We don't want to play silly games, BINGO we want a fair pay increase, we want tools to be able to perform our jobs, we don't want to go to countless meetings with no true results or assignments, We want people to either accept, deny or reschedule a meeting, We want people to show up on time to meetings so we don't waste time.

We want our pay increase at review time, We want this years NOW, we want to know the budget for increases in each region and major BU. We want criteria for pay increases !

We don't want to enter GOALS as if you meet or exceed you get NOTHING anyway.

We want a fair grade system our current one is 1. Your a GOD, 3. You don't meet expectations -> you should be fired and 2. EVERYONE ELSE

@4mot

Delivery EVP and his gang were there in India. It was not known widely that they were visiting. Usually middle management does a huge song and dance when top execs come. My manager was very tight lipped. Presumably the visiting dignitaries did not want the grunts pestering them with irrelevant question on raises. All I know is their 5 star hotel accommodation, transportation and entertainment expenses was much more than the annual raise I got last year in 8 years!!! Oh well, fool that I am still here.

How about adding the song Sixteen Tons by Tennessee Ernie Ford to this playlist.

Interesting, the workers may have been given thier pay as 'credit vouchers' that they could then only use in the store owned by the companies, I've also heard tales where miners couldn't afford to buy their own tools to do the job. So the companies they worked for did them a deal and let them rent their tools from them - so not only did they get the cheap labour, but then cashed in on the rental profit too!

Surprised shouty Mike doesn't make us rent our laptops!

Does anyone know what this is in reference to?:
'Absolutely. Brandy and his coterie came and went out in stealth mode. Nobody knows what was the visit agenda and outcome. Only that each day's boarding and lodging expense is equal to the annual pay rise of a normal rank and file coal-face.'

The brand culture was never truly practiced by the top level who demonstrated all the worst traits of ethics I have ever seen, some of which became public knowledge and some were brushed under the carpet. I remember my boss at the time having quiet words with us to start making plans to get out, which we all did. So glad I did. Life is far better when the culture isn’t toxic and it starts from the top with a leadership that shows it really does care about 8ts workforce. Sadly, however, everything I have since learnt from the register, computer weekly and on here shows me the culture has a long way to go beyond filtered survey completion numbers.

Wankers !
It's "let them eat cake week" - that will compensate for no pay increases.

Talented people leaving in droves and we can't replace them - but we want growth.

There is a growth culture here but its festering bacteria that makes the place stink to high heaven.

Only the execs can't smell it because they can afford not too. As in one episode of Seinfeld form George "Its not a lie if you believe it!".

The timing of culture week shows how tone deaf they are.
All staff are interested in is if they will be getting any increases this year and our clueless bungling leaders still haven't released the budget to managers so no one has a clue. They are at real risk of missing their already far too late deadline, but instead they get their HR team and the workplace kool aid drinkers to promote culture week.

Big difference between the culture our leaders talk about and the culture they actually create
