They're getting bashful about saying who got canned, because it was conspicuously absent.

Nobody got thanked for zir service.

Today's announcement, so who got canned, I mean "is pursuing other opportunities"? Or are these newly created bogus roles.....

@mvnh+1neXpFNJ lol ok. Isn't the whole point of this board to share info before they put it on mymetlife? Sounds like you're blowing smoke.

It bears repeating, as many are getting laid off here, that it's inclusive that an inept and homophobic AVP still remains. Senior leadership ignores all feedback on the magnitude of the situation.

In US Business, multiple AVP “retiring 7/31”, and reporting structure changes “effective immediately”.

They finally got me spooked enough that I'm applying for jobs outside Met. Maybe that's part of their plan...

@3aom+1neXpFNJ it's the end of the Pepsi culture. There will likely be more cuts. No more skating by without some level of technical acumen and ability.

@1hsy+1neXpFNJ 'Let go' meaning walked out. Yes. The new CISO is cutting deep.

I'm curious if all these executives that are "retiring" know something.

Chief IT Security Officer.
Chief Actuary.
President of Investments.
Chief General Council.

These guys all seem like independent thinkers.

Did CEO ask them to do something and they say, "no"?

The remaining execs seem more like "yes" men and women.

@1hsy+1neXpFNJ remaining ELT should seriously look into the bloated and useless AVPs and VPs, specifically in NYC. At best, these people should be at the Director level. Useless to the core and raking in some serious dough.

Heard some AVPs and VPs were let go this week in Cary.

Top lawyer getting fired is mighty interesting. Wonder who he got mad... or what lawsuit his team screwed up.

Ramy going to MetLife Holdings prob means variable annuity business will be spun off/sold. Co just manages this line of business and no longer sells product. Lots of changes
