Who wants to bet we'll have the first major layoff of 2022 before this month is over? I'd go as far as to say that we could be looking at something major as soon as next week. Wells Fargo has never shied away from starting the year with cuts, I don't see why this year would be any different.

Finally… we have an actual Layoff topic!
This is already a good year as we never got on topic last year.
People quitting en masse, now that 401k is paid out, is a little more likely, though I imagine many who are bonus eligible are waiting until after mid February to hit the door.
I'd be VERY surprised if we get anything this month. Feb at the earliest is my guess.
With so many off for the holidays, tons of stuff backlogged, Workday implementation. There's no way they have their act together to layoff a bunch of people this month.
Heck, this week alone is people just getting back into the swing of things.
I heard Tech is affected
no question about it. WFC to 60
Dude, you need a life.
I think you meant to type roles, not rolls.
LAYOFFS, HA! Wake up, rates are going to be rising rapidly to cut off inflation. Bank earnings will soon be off the charts, banks and their HR will crawl over each other for talent. Question is who's the highest bidder, who's got the easiest site to apply to. WF? BoA? JPM? or the other thousand banks out there. Rolls have reversed, a talent and headcount war is underway, just wait.
