Why my boss called me today.wasnt to ask me if I was ok or needed any p.p.e. Nor was it to thank me for working and risking my health and family. IT was to complain that I don't put enough notes on close out orders.

My new Level3 boss has called just to 'check in' and see if I need anything (i.e. time off to run to the store, run to take care of a family member). He had headsets shipped to people homes so they work remotely. We have weekly group calls and can't thank people enough, which in turn we saw numbers jump for the month of March. I think the company is doing a great job, all things considered.

Gee did you get the new knee pads too?
Well you were not putting enough notes in the orders you closed. Sorry we need to be more conscientious out things like this. Your welcome to find employment else where. I can give you a good referral. You just need to do better.
For you young guy's the company use to have a motto: There is no job so important so urgent that you cannot perform your job safely, Yeah it didn't mean anything back then ether.

We are not even being told what central offices and garages have possible contamination around our metro by management, only from other techs: that’s some love.
This reminds me of why I left that place.
Those are the unifying principles at work haha. The beatings will continue until morale improves, and you are the problem if you speak of any problems. Why they don’t realize that the businesses that are successful are not doing that beats me. I think those at the top know, and don’t care, about the company being successful, only themselves.
