There will be more layoffs before years end. Nothing says Happy Holidays like a good old fashioned RIF. Support for clients is terrible and getting worse by the day. Pretty unhappy place to work these days.

@kz Same here! Suddenly they want to be on all calls, asking questions about how to do this and that, where things are filed, etc.
As much as it would su-k, for as long as I've been here, maybe a mini vacation isn't that bad after all the sh!t I've had to deal with this last year.
Won't be Thanksgiving week, so probably next week or the week after.

Lots of directors and SVPs again this month, capitol markets is very top heavy, it’s going to be a blood bath folks. Merry Christmas
@an i know its coming, 100%, but guessing the day. Typically last tues/wed of a month, but cant do that in US with a holiday mucking up the works. I've got my money on the 11th as well but SUPER tight lipped. I am usually close enough to get more details and info, but nothing yet.

@kz the negative thinking here in this forum (and it’s overall existence) is as much of a drag on the culture here as is the actual administrative actions. Maybe they’re just trying to spread knowledge around in case of something, but thinking that your manager or everyone is out to get you won’t do anyone any good. Unless they’re an SVP and up (and even then, maybe not at this point!) I would assume that they have as little clue about the next actions as you do.
Well my manager has suddenly taken an interest in what I do, never really cared for a year now. Asked that I show another coworker again one process. Just thinking it’s a little suspicious.

Earlier in the year, it was November 19 but the mouthy SVP of development that used to feed me the information got laid off two months ago! Just a reminder if it’s a Wednesday and you suddenly get that let’s catch up call from your manager be worried.
