I'll just add that retirement is awesome. There is more to life than making somebody else's dreams come true. When you have enough get out. Don't work until you're 70!

I was impacted over a year ago but, my God, was I so glad to be out. Started a new role in a great company and you then quickly realise how defective the senior Viasat engineering management is with its toxic cronyism and political infighting. Distinctly no leadership there. You all have my sympathies but please know you can all absolutely do better, even in this current job climate, when the axe falls again
