Imagine what HCSC would be like

If only HCSC cracked down on nepotism and favoritism the way they are cracking down on RTO and the ridiculous 3 days average in the office.

@xd - It is funny that HR tries to paint managers as the ones implementing this policy. Managers have no control over these policies. These all come from VP and above levels...and HR of course.

@kk - To get that average they must come in way more than 2 days a week with all of their PTO, Holidays and sick time. Most just come in sick now. Anyone who defends this stupid policy must be in HR.

@k3 Nobody shows up on the report unless you’re averaging under 2 days a week over a full year.

@jf - This RTO policy comes from HR and then expressed yo us by our VP. Get people into the office and have them average three days. Holidays and PTO don't count as in office days so they must come in extra days to make them up. If they do not get their average to three days have their managers talk to them and it will be on their reviews. We are looking at lower bonuses and merit increases for those that don't comply. So, they really need to come in four or even five days some weeks to make up for their PTO and Holidays...except for telecommuters and favorites they give exceptions to, of course.

FINALLY someone brought the REAL problem to light in HCSC. This is also related to middle mngt and who they like or don't and who makes them look good. In the long run even if they do not like you they want you to volunteer for anything and everything and "share" your ideas. Wait for it...if you have a really good idea, they will wait several months then claim it as their own.

It is a ridiculous and dangerous policy. The favoritism is real too. So many unqualified people get promoted or hired to Director level and above positions while qualified candidates get looked over.
