Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Personal vendetta

My manager has been trying to make my life miserable in hopes I'll quit. He's been downright abusive, putting much more on my plate than any single person could handle, and I know some of the things on my performance review were outright lies.

He's out for revenge because I made him look bad once in front of his manager (which was neither intentional nor hard to do, to be honest.) And I'm sad to admit that his efforts are working. I was hoping to stick it out for severance, but I think I'm getting ready to just quit.

I hate that he's going to win but there ain't much I can do about it and preserve my sanity.

I agree, cool story bro. If this is happening, it's a no brainer vHR issue that you need to push all the way to the top! Unfortunately you all but admit being away that you made the person look bad, you know easy to do?

Despite that push this and don't take no for an answer.

Work hard to destroy the retention ratio....

Hang in there my friend. The Wolf put up with many ignorant Sales managers. These sales managers would charm a room by leaving it. Many of these managers think they are "leaders among leaders." However, she could not be a leader of the french fry crew at Chick Fillet in Pigs Knuckle Indiana! I think you should dedicate yourself to helping the customers to the best of your ability. Remember, management does not care about the customer, but you don't have to lower yourself to that level. Wait for your severance. You deserve the payout. And much like all the corrupt sales managers, your manager will be shown the door also.

Management in most areas were given their marching orders a few weeks ago. Push out and/or term as many as you can before the layoffs in a few months. They want to pay out as little severance as possible. About half my team is about to be put on UNs or termed based on the occurrence scheme and metric manipulation. And I work in a state that sides heavily with the employers so any proof or documentation I would have if these low down unethical and illegal tactics will go unnoticed.
