Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Do DXC Realise what they have done ?

It’s the first topic of almost every single meeting at the moment.

The leadership have seemingly broken trust with the entire staff base in the U.K. I still haven’t yet found someone in gainful employment who’s company hasn’t given them a cost of living increase this year. DXC aside. This is a proper question. Does anyone know of any employers? Not just IT companies or DXCs competitors that hasn’t given an cost of living increase to staff this year ?

Absolutely we realize what we have done as it was planned.

We made a up a poor quarter on the billing to coincide with the pay raise. Why do you think figures were only bad that quarter.

All will be good next quarter now we put your pay out of the picture. So we will take more rewards.

We all did very well out of it, we got ours big style.

Make sure you keep doing your appraisal stuff, do the daily work so your productive and clients are happy.

Managers keep skrewing the ones under you, we will eventually reward you sometime.

We will keep drumming ecternally that we look after staff so if anyone asks please report a good story that you may still get a raise if and when we meet our changing targets we will review otherwise we won't review.

Alls well just off to Barbados for a well earned break.

My company is struggling and has to reduce some headcount in It, but they gave us 3% each across the board to offset the cost of living crisis we all find ourselves in, they are planning a big Christmas party ( free bar all night) because we haven’t had a party for 2 yrs and £250.00 at Christmas for those who have not taken any sick days this year, it will all go to pay the energy bill this year. But a lot of companies I know through friends who work at them or had joined them in recent yrs have found they have paid out some level to offset the cost of living this yr more than any other. I had waited to see how much DXC would pay given the extended delays - keeping everyone in limbo guessing - and having their managers believe that finally they could reward their staff, only to find out that their decision was, again, to offer bu33er all! Disgusting!

DXC destroyed trust internally shortly after Shouty took over. He promised change. He promised to make DXC a people-focused company, with words like "We're going to look after our people, and our people will look after our customers". Fine words, Shouty. But as we all now know, those words were lies. Mike Lawrie was at least honest about what he was doing, Shouty isn't. What's more, DXC also likes to lie to customers; that destroys any trust that the customers may have in DXC.

The trust issue goes far beyond pay increases, as DXC hasn't implemented any real reward mechanism since it was first formed. The trust issue is rooted in the dishonest behaviour of the leadership team of DXC in Tysons. As others have pointed out, the leadership of DXC has been proven to be morally bankrupt, meaning that until the leadership team is replaced DXC will continue to be un-trustworthy.

They want you to quit, so they don't have to pay severance!

The Morale of all the employees across the globe is 💩 and it won't change till people with good reviews are given a fair pay increase!

The executives should have budgeted the increases already so it shouldn't be included in the 500 million they need to cut.

Cut the HR head and get $5,000,000 right off the bat. Cut most of the executives because they don't do 💩

No merit increase , I am working less than 1/2 my hours

No merit increase , more vacation time

No merit increase , won't turn in any white papers

No merit increase , quiet quitting

No merit increase , I am done at the end of the year, getting my 401k match and taking another job where I already have an offer in hand and they are willing to wait

No merit increase FU-K DXC and all there bull 💩 meetings

All the public sector strikes are about the pay increases not being big enough, none of them are about NO pay rise.

Also completely agree there is zero trust now. They can no longer talk themselves out the mess, now only seeing is believing I.E. actions not words
