Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Owensboro layoffs?

I know it’s coming. They put us all on this workflow productivity tool that tells our manager every click we make and how much idle time our mouse has. We’ve been on it long enough for them to know if we’re over/under staffed. I just want to know how much longer I have

That's not surprising.
But US Bank is so lousy with software installations and access management that it takes forever to deploy. Even after username is added many employees have to go back and forth with the a-hole prod owner or product mgr in order to get access to the login. Even once you are granted access there are instances where entire weeks will show no data and it will say "partial week". Dysfunctional.

@oepf+1tOURbLQ I asked my friend who’s a manager if it’s being installed on our computers. They said Littles whole org is getting it soon, that’s basically all of Owensboro

No, if "Leaf" does not come up it means that they either have not installed or deployed it on your machine.

No results found. I guess it's not in every operations department so far.

If you go to the Sapience site, one of the first things they tout is that their software can help companies save 30% in “contractor” costs.

@1wgx+1tOURbLQ Look up "Leaf" in task manager, if you find it, then you have Sapience installed.

As others noted, Sapience is garbage. If you are doing research, it may not count as productivity. Same goes for troubleshooting or monitoring. However, if you accept a meeting, that counts as working hours even if you are not online. Garbage application for a garbage bank.

It’s been installed for a long time. It’s horrible because it doesn’t track meetings accurately. Some team calls are listed as working, while other calls doesn’t count.
I have also been counted as working for 5 hours ,even though I was logged on for only 2 hours, they counted me as working for 5 hours because I had meetings in my calendar. Not very accurate, but that’s the tool management use.

Also, if you’re Job requires you to search for information online, it doesn’t count as working because they assume you’re just surfing the net when you’re looking up government website like the IRS for your job

If you work in Operations, chances are Sapience is already installed on your computer. Although it was pitched as a tool to help employees, it fails to recognize that not all jobs in Operations are keyboard-based or transactional. While Sapience aims to enhance operational efficiency and has positively transformed some groups in Operations by identifying understaffed areas, it has had a demotivating effect on other teams whose work is not primarily keyboard-based or transactional. These teams may feel that their contributions are undervalued or misunderstood, as the tool does not adequately capture the nuances of their roles.

Please provide some type of evidence this tool is being using or at least name the application.

Damn. I thought Sapience was still beta testing. Guess they really want to line up that Q4 "profit savings"
