@hf I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the earnings report specifically states workforce rebalancing will take place in the first quarter of FY27, not 2027. FY27 is our current fiscal year that we're in right now, and Q1FY27 ends on June 30, hence all of the panic.

@hf we have slowly been losing people pip them then bench then quietly give them 6 month payoff so better way to go. We don’t have many tech people left all the model seems to be is act as a middleman between KD and white label vendors now and take a cut our pod ha s little skills left just enough to talk through a pitch

The so call 200 Mill for work force rebalancing is for charges largely on first Q of 2027. They got a lot of time. They don't have to do all RA in June 2026. They will keep RA people until end of this years to minimize impact especially they need someone to cover the summer vacation. KD customers not going to take no for answer so they need someone to hold the fort. My guess is they will do something similar to 2024 and 2025. Many RA but in small number so no Media attention. I do know few people got layoffs during that 2 years. It is slow and painful for many POD.

According to WARN Act KD must give 60 days notice so if they want mass layoff, need to do it now. Chat with few KD but again no news yet! KD may try to do few smaller round of RA to avoid WARN. They got enough bad news so they don't want to get too much attention. Unlike the mega 7, KD business model is based on outsourcing. Mass RA may get customers leaving. They may delay this mass RA until later this year when more contracts was renewed. They will try to break up the RA to many small batch to avoid WARN. Not too sure about India because they don't have the same protection.

Maybe they'll use those $200 million for the salaries of the new, highly valuable VP cheerleaders.

I was on a call where someone suggested they heard rumors that it will happen this week, but they were just rumors. Mid-month with a 2 week notice makes sense to me, although when you're letting go of a large number of people who are working on productive accounts, you might need more than 2 weeks of KT. not sure they give a sh-t, though

In another thread on here someone said mid-June saying that targets were still being set. I would have guessed today or tomorrow, but I suppose it goes to show that it's largely all of us guessing. I doubt anyone with any real inside knowledge is frequenting this site and sharing updates. In theory it could happen any day between now and end of June, but I think they give at least a two week notice period so those impacted can do handover of projects and other work to those left behind.
