I was there when it happened. I'm not sure CDW was to blame at all, maybe got fired, inter-coworker relationship thing, but it was definitely a real thing that happened.

@tf This is some morbid stuff. No job is worth unaliving yourself.

@tf there was the one guy who did what he did outside the riverside office a few years ago. You can search on google using certain keywords and it's pretty easy to find.

Honest question: have there ever been confirmed reports of more than one person taking their own life following job termination at CDW? I’m curious because I’ve only ever come across one or two mentions, but nothing definitive.

You think acquisitions were bad? The new guy wants to remake CDW into Slalom. Big changes for all, more favorable pay for those high value people.

@mv deadwood. VP Sales promoted under year ago then exits?

@fx The rot isn’t at the roots—it’s in the branches. Mid-tier shadows know what they’ve done. Time to prune.

@hp I checked out Insights earnings call and they are saying a lot of the same things we are. I think they had a big acquisition too. Their CEO doesn't sound as confident on the calls if that matters. Are they following us or are we following them?

In all seriousness "CDW will never be what it once was. We are already many years behind competitors" That is just not true. We are still doing 5.1BILLION a quarter, with improving mix and GM%. It's true we will never be the box-pusher we once were. But the services business is growing every quarter. Love it or not, those are facts. It's not like we aren't selling anything and the company is collapsing. Look for an earnings beat on top and bottom line tomorrow to reinforce my point.

h9 You should quit. You clearly have a chip on your shoulder. Sirius+CDW was a negative return, but we got some great people and some great accounts. CDW sc--wed the pooch on the integration and retention of execs that should have been kept, but it's water under the bridge now. Move on. Time to get rid of the weak links, and passive-aggressive chumps, like you for instance.

Only a handful. Well, two handfuls. Then a small one in November and then done until next year with another large move.

@fx you are a hoot. Good one. CDW will never be what it once was. We are already many years behind competitors due to horrendous acquisition strategy and execution, on top of incompetent leadership. Please convince us Sirius was good for the company. We’ll wait.

@OP August? Highly unlikely. 2026, almost a certainty. Oh, CDW hired another C-suite Exec. Once they wrap their arms around the mess there will undoubtedly be ‘changes’.

@OP We can only hope. We need to weed out all of the weak from the CDW herd so we can dominate the industry again.

Layoffs happen at the end of every quarter. You're safe for another month.
