Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

SF FACTORY WORKERS UNITE

Since they want to run their company like a factory shouldn't the employees be unionized?

Rise up! Stand up! Take the power back.
Alone they crush you. Together we crush them!!!

UNIONIZE NOW

Unions take money from workers so they can justify their existence while they collude with mgmt. Unions are bad socialist juju!

Whoever commented that unions are stupid because SF already pays more than unions do must not understand unions or collective bargaining.

The union does not pay the workers, stupid. The negotiate with the company on behalf of the workers regarding pay, benefits and working conditions.

Glassdoor has a bunch of fake ratings. How are you losing your job and giving it 5 stars? Same with all the former employees. Tips approval from 33 to 41 percent?

Due to increased interest in Unionization within the insurance industry as a whole, a clarification of the union name is in order.

Hence forth as the union shall be known as it pertains to SF:
United Insurance Workers of America - SF Brotherhood or UIWA-SF

@pwg

All for it. But you realize Agents cannot unionize, right? They are independent business owners with contracted marketing and sales services.

Happy Friday corporate stooges!

The SF United Insurance Workers Union or UIWF make formal notice that any attempts to quash the workers right to unionize is against federal laws.

Failure to immediatetly and forthwith improve working environment, pay, PTO and retirement and benefits shall force the unified work force including but not limited to agents, claims, underwriting and support to strike at our predetermined date and time.
