@x2 I get it. If you keep this habit up, you might get a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.

When will RTO related layoffs happen? My leadership hasn't specified RTO days, so that makes it easy to say you weren't in the specific 4 days (because you guessed wrong).

My entire team was laid off June 26. You have no clue what you're talking about

We feel tension in work for past 4+ months, few factories closed, market share dropped, many recalls, few deps trickled separations, RTO ongoing mess, PR with enforced ranking, I hear and witness every week small number of people leaving, no new hiring allowed. Uncertainty, fear, and lack of trust in leadership. Lucky are those in good teams with good bosses.
OP what do you want?

I had a good review a few years back. I got nailed on housekeeping even though my desk only had a mouse pad my kids bought me and a Ford holiday calender pinned to my cubicle wall. What a broken process. I guess I needed more things strewn around my workspace.

It's true we all know people every week getting let go. Force lower ratings to demoralize. They clearing don't want to give voluntary packages anymore..too many would leave and it would cost. Don't let them get the best of you mentally. It's a crazy game they are trying to limit lawsuits. The truth eventually will be discovered.

It is hard to understand why so many of the posters are really angry that no layoffs have occurred since May.
If they really do work at Ford, they should do the adult thing and quit. Find another job if you are soooo miserable.
These posters act like children having temper tantrums.
Time to grow up!

Good for you, if you are not seeing any layoffs around you but they are happening. Many of us face rude behaviors from our leadership which is a sign of what’s to come. Last year, I faced lot of verbal abuse from my LL5, who is known for being obnoxious. No one escalates this because of her closeness to LL4. This year, I am with another mo*on. His treatment isn’t good either. There is no helpful HR to take our complains.

You must be in La La Land. I know at least a handful of people who've been let go in the past few months.

I suspect a big layoff is planned for Monday, which coincides with the first Monday since RTO. Doing it around Labor Day would have been bad press.

nobody can hear you scream and the humiliation people who take pride in their work feel is to keep them hush thats why you dont hear anything

if it was justified or deserved thats different.

theres no truth in accepting misinformation or fighting an uphill battle.

@a5 you’re being gaslit. That is the point. To demoralize you and then to give you the option of voluntary separation. These managers have no talent or tact, in DPD they came from Amazon. It’s the only thing they are good at.

When you get inconsistent ratings for the first time in your career, inspite of delivering everything on time and while being on top of everything, better than your LL5 and 6,what are you supposed to do than to get negative? Is this a company or a joke?

Raises hand - trial run of the performance based firings. After the mid year reviews I’d expect to see a lot more just before Thanksgiving. Notes to HR for all low performers in the next couple weeks. PEP’s handed out by early October.

Layoffs would be preferred compared to what’s in store.
