It seems the rolling layoffs have no end in sight, who else thinks they’ll reference AI as a reason for downsizing this year?

@OP how is the adoption of AI tools across everyone’s teams? It feels like some people don’t use it at all.
@2gp I read Harrison Bergeron as a six grader. I think it is quite apropos.
“a dystopian short story by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., first published in 1961, set in the year 2081, where the government enforces absolute equality by handicapping citizens with above-average intelligence, strength, or beauty…”
I kind of get that drop. Interesting. I wonder how many people here have read that short story?
@2en what… are … you … saying …
Love the, I use ai to summarize everything, I look at. I want to be paid millions while ai does the work…
Kinda like calling it in. But want exponential pay.
Is your brain that atrophied? A crutch for the brainless masses. Harrison Bergeron is TRPs future. “Vapid slop” in the making at a global scale. Appearing wise while remaining ignorant
How many sick days did ai use to take care of a sick loved one?
@1c4 bloated underperforming OUS office
@kk oh and which office has local IT support staff still?
@kk should’ve skipped Accenture and go with AI straight off the bat. Why bother with fake Steve when you can have AI Steve. Original Steve is gone either way.
Morgan Stanley beat them to the punch yesterday.
@jc don’t need any IT staff anyway. AI can read me a script and troubleshoot in less time than it takes to go walk over to the tubster for a useless 20 minute chat
@jc Block makes it look attractive with the immediate boost to share price that they experienced.
