The leave & accommodation team that got laid f had the employees back in my experience personally! Lincoln Financial owns that responsibility now entirely for any JARS STD LTD etc. Good luck getting a JAR now without having to aire out all your private medical records which USAA will use to determine who stays and goes. It's not only a HIPAA violation but illegal and deceptive

@4tqu+1rCZbufO There are no politics in my post. Those are just simply facts. USAA is 100% doing all the things I mentioned. You can agree or disagree with them but you can't alter the truth because you don't like it.

The hiring managers at other companies are not interested in hearing an impassioned speech about the demise of USAA, it’s not relevant to their needs. Move the convo on to answering their questions and what you can do for them. Other companies move at lightening speed and are looking for who will be able to move the fastest with fewest complaints. If you seem like you are going to bring complaints, they’ll pick the next one in line.

The word is, indeed, "out" that USAA is a horrible place to work.

I liked the two responses: (1) if you were laid off, just state as much, and (2) if you resigned (as I did), explain (briefly) the demise of this once-great company. In my case, not a single person called my explanation into question and all were sympathetic to the situation.

People also understand CEO and Board greed. There is a very long history of this type of behavior in U.S. corporations. Just search "CEO and Board greed" to look at the long line.

USAA is now a company that has had its soul ripped out.

@1urz+1rCZbufO When I explained to my new employer why I was leaving USAA, I answered professionally and objectively. As a veteran, my values and morals no longer aligned with the company any longer. USAA is stolen valor; exploiting the employee's hearts and minds (mission moments) while at the same time undermining our military community and customers by subverting the principles and values of our great nation. (DEI, ESG, corporate donations to social justice initiatives, including donations to specific NGOs facilitating the open border invasion). I got the job.

Question: what's the best response to give to future employer from all of us great employees who have either left , have been laid off or in the process of being laid off to secure our next role? The word has got to be out there what USAA is doing .Could use the advice. Thanks!

These actions here today are the latest move by Pouchot and Martinez to transform ER and L&A into a heartless, robotic, call center environment. Julie and Becky are removing all of the care and compassion from their team, one reorganization at a time.
