@2bx you know who sent the work at Infosys? the 3 guys at the top, probably got some kickback in India.... all things are settled, you scratch my back... I scratch yours...and they come here all clean, no paperwork, nothing to prove...
The way I see this company will be overun by H1Bs brought from India.

Nobody is going to say anything if you're getting work done, but it gives a good pretext if they want to get rid of you for cause.

RTO’s been a pretty tidy way to thin the herd, let’s be honest.
Problem is, the ones who’ve walked are the good operators! the kind who can snag a well-paid remote gig without much trouble.
The only buildings where they keep badge records in any capacity are manufacturing locations. If your boss doesn't care you are going outside the 4-1, no one else will.
Coffee badging definitely still doable.
And if you travel a lot for your job? No one ever knows.
my goodness, unless you live 1 hour away from the office, it's not as if you will melt for going to the office. Just like everyone did before COVID ...
And before you say anything, no, I am not happy about 4-1 but at the same time, whatever. When it starts truly bugging me, I will go find a new job and that's it.
