Looks like S Giuliano is no longer gainfully employed by the emperor. Mr G was always fair and after working alongside him side for years - I can say truly, he was one of the best managers and leaders. Sad day.

So two major execs gone, share buyback today, and zero communications. Seems legit.
Do the bare minimum. And if anyone has to use a restroom, don't flush.
I bet Sammy is not well-liked in the Melville community. That sack of monkey dung devastated the local economy and sc--wed taxpayers over with their IDA tax breaks. What a crook. Hope the locals hiss at him.
Sammy has anti-American attitude. And folks wonder why certain posts related to WWII get posted on this forum. This guy is destructive.
@ks the burn out is real. I've never felt like this before but honestly since S21 went live for LFS PTS it's been nothing but a Sh*t Show. The system is horrible but oops we aren't supposed to say that. S21 and now with Google arriving at some point it's almost as if they are just sitting back and watching the pain they are putting us through.
@k7 hope not!!
At this point, it’s blatantly obvious that Isao “Because I Say So” Kobayashi’s primary mission is complete and utter destruction of Canon USA. I had a bad feeling about this guy since day one. At the time of Ogawa’s departure, I had not been with the company long enough to assess his performance in comparison, but the current guy has just been a disgrace. The layoffs and offshoring of jobs to the Philippines, the botched restructuring & merger of CSA, the petty office policies, the departure of several American managers this year, an obsession with AI, but no core competency to properly develop or implement it, switching operating systems from Microsoft to Google, openly politicizing tariffs, paralyzing sales with price increases then stating it’s NOT ACCEPTABLE, traveling the country to pretend he is interested and involved in the daily operations.
This guy is like the Chip Kelly of corporate CEOs. First, he gets rid of outstanding employees. Next, he tries to implement an “innovative approach” and acts like he’s the smartest guy in the room, but in the long run it back fires and burns employees out. Then, employees are micromanaged and ignored (he couldn’t even bother interacting with low-level employees on his trips around the country). The guy touts success but has nothing to show for it. Canon is basically the Philadelphia Eagles of 2013 through 2015.
Will SF make it through the year?
SK is the poster child for cruelty. Karma will get him. It's only a matter of time and it won't be pretty.
I have had a chance to know SG and work in the same building. He was all class. He never looked down on anyone as he grew in the company. He always remembered the “little” people.
It’s upsetting to me to see another person let go by a guy who seems to care less about the people who built this company (CBS/CSA). If he thinks numbers falling by 10% were bad last month, keep driving the morale of this company into the ground and pretty soon you won’t have to pay anyone. People will just leave. Maybe that’s that SK wants.
Stop devaluing the AMERICAN employee.
SK botches every decision. Everything he touches turns to sh--e.
Big mistake by SK. Echoing other commenters here. Steven was one of the good guys - smart and kept it real. This place is worse off without him…
Cusa made a mistake with this one, Steven is a great leader, awesome guy. Theres so many people that should have been in line way before him.
Two-thirds of the way to the Steve Triple Crown Trifecta in August ?
It makes me mad that the Americans are getting whacked, but no expats?
Clearly, SK feels threatened and is desperate to slash salary.
One of the best… real, genuine, personable… a true leader. This one hits really hard.
He's been promoted to customer
@OP I count list 10 other higher ups who no one would miss and people don’t respect. This one hits hard to all employees. He was so well respected!
