He won't be blunt about anything. Probably keep things at a high-level. And echo how we are still the third best carrier. Seeing up to mention real estate and cost rationalization as keys to success.

@aj Thankfully, EBITDA hyping is finally dying down in favor of P/E targets. A good indicator we're getting serious.

Poll - Do you think he will announce RIF during the all hands ?

He'll be shuffling in with a coffee, ramble about AI and whatever else his addled brain comes up with. Then he'll say that we had an amazing quarter (regardless what the numbers are) but that we need to reduce cost more to align it with expectations.
And then a week later we'll get the 10% across the board layoff.

@aj and why would Verizon need to mimic? Being a leading company means not copying but operating by its own ideas and principles. Get over with the RTO BS or move over to another co....get a life!

AT&T past 2 years is mandatory in office. I know of Directors with families in NJ that are renting Condos in Texas and flying back every two weeks to see kids. All 3 are with 2-3 years of retirement so cashing out.

If Vz goes 70% virutal just take American flag down in Basking Ridge HQ and replace with a white flag! Executives have surrendered and want to drive EBITA with expens/headcount reductions.

What there will be is more coffee slurps, sticky lips, cowboy boots, AI blah blah blah, rah rah rah and a pointless rambling story about nothing.

What there won't be is detail, a plan and any sense of a future for the business.

H V Teamers,

I have said this before but I will say it again, I turned down this job twice. AI is the future and everything will be different in 5 years. We will continue to make hard decisions so we can do what right for our customers. This coffee is really good. We have a Tiger Team working on something and we have momentum.

As I've said before. He will talk about global footprint optimization or something similar but what he really is saying is real estate nationalization. After the hands on meeting, your leaders will likely get a sync call the day after or on the 30th that will tell them the details of this transition. Translation : 70% of all teams will be virtual.

And you probably have received some sort of email from HR engagement team who will try and get a gauge on how well you are taking the news. This is important for morale within the scope of Verizon. It's to identity flight risks and control the narrative while also making sure you feel like you are being heard. That's why leaders will not be present during the discussion.

Verizon doesn't just send out HR enegament emails unless it's about something substantial.
