There was a time when people were proud to work at Ford and leadership valued the team. That sense of shared purpose has completely vanished. Good employees are exiting constantly, replaced by a culture of fear and spreadsheets. They've lost sight of the fact that the workforce is the company's real asset. The loyalty they once earned has been spent.

What is gifted here is rude and obnoxious behavior. People are promoted to LL5+ position to cause fear among the team and can act like puppets for their seniors. They don’t need any real skill for the job to be called as Directors. It’s a shame where Ford has come.

I left after 15 years there. It’s the leadership. Disgusting joke of an excuse to be called executives. Lisa Drake gets named president of “Ford Energy”. Everything she has touched has turned to literal sh-t. Accountability??

The company became a chipmunk mockery with sc--w-you-CEO_CFOs. They get their turn from the board but unlike engineers (middle class) they get booted with millions.
None of this matters anymore. They've indicated by actions that cheap and good enough is the way they do things. Get ready to train your H1-B replacement that makes half what you do but won't have the dignity to demand more. Good enough, or cheap enough.
Oh well. No one works at Ford for the pride of it. If you do your a fool. They pay, therefore you work. Any romantic ideas of purpose and you are a do nothing dreamer.
