Viasat has announced a key new partnership in the area of cybersecurity.

It is teaming up with CYSEC, a cybersecurity company based in France and Switzerland, to work under its ELEVATE program to provide reliable, state-of-the-art cybersecurity tools for satellite communications.

The ELEVATE program is continuing to grow with a huge range of technology specialists, but CYSEC is expanding its presence in the critical field of cybersecurity.

It is great to have them on board to collaborate with our ecosystem and continue to drive progress.

We still in it, a runner can trip and fall,

Whenever this weirdo mentions a runner I wonder what race they are referring to. On one hand, there's the race the pros are running in and some are winning. Then there's the local handicapped race that Viasat is running in and getting a participation trophy for.

Viasat may be pivoting into secure satcom which may be a key differentiator compared to other providers. So this is an interesting move, if we ignore that Cysec has already developed some of their products to work with Starlink. Wait and see.

Please remind us the incremental revenue and profit expected from Elevate over, say, the next 3 years. And how many jobs (lost to Starlink) Elevate is likely to save.

Out favourite runner seems to trip and fall a lot more than he/she runs.
