Anyone else seeing the repeating pattern? We cannot backfill. We are told hiring is frozen but we see that it isn’t, because some people are being promoted who have no business doing so. Some people have busted a gut on major projects that succeeded and they get a nice little bonus but nothing more. We are told that it may be rough seas ahead but not for those tapped for promotions. Anyone else here pi---d off about the bullsh-t rhetoric? Fill out your survey responses accordingly.

Yeah I am mad too because everything said here is true. And why are some groups growing at an enormous clip while not accomplishing anything of substance? One person promoted twice in rapid succession yet that person had no clue about their own work group. Do they have dirt on someone and they are advanced so they won’t spill secrets?
@d0 It’s sad this has 13 up votes. It speaks volumes about the morale and the current leadership of HCSC.
Unless you are buddy buddy with someone at top it is highly unlikely that you will even sniff a promotion. Most of the top executives get reshuffled in different departments at higher titles and higher paychecks while their buddies get some of the scraps. If you are a hard worker they will let you rot with zero opportunities to advance.
I was told promotions here are done based on personal relationships and not by one's ability to get the job done. I have found it to be mostly true here at HCSC.
It can't be too racist to have a person of color as the CEO.
This has been going on for the past 20 years. HCSC uses nepotism and favoritism to such a high level that it totally obscures that it also very racist and uses Tolkiens to protect itself.
