Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Location Strategy - Raleigh site

Anyone with any insight about when Raleigh will be completely phased out? Leadership has been vague about it (next several years), but no real date as of yet.

When WEC closed in Winston-Salem, they converted a ton of people to remote. YMMV.

Hahaha have fun and enjoy the ride 🤣 we were given the same information and 3 years later, still here 😬 if you’re smart, you’ll quit now.

Leadership is actively discussing site strategy. The outcomes of that are not known but there has been a significant push that the current strategy is causing issues with loss of institutional knowledge.

So while there is a push for some loosening of the current strategy, I fully expect the leadership to make the d-mb choice and restrict further.

@ca not true I'm not operations and we will be done soon. We were told it will be closing within 2 years of November 2025 when the announcement was made. Key word within so could happen a lot sooner.

Get the facts right. Only Operations is leaving. All other groups plan to stay.

If anything they're pretty good on keeping that information to themselves. Not even managers are privy to it. They used to be years ago, but the word would get out and would become problematic. Otherwise if you do hear anything it's usually rumors. You can ride it out and just wonder if the next Tuesday after payday is the day.
