@p1 "Why would employers want near-slave employees dependent on them for immigration status from societies where they're used to having no life outside work and are willing to accept low wages?"

Some critical thinking is in order here.

@js this just reinforces the point. Why dont employers prefer to hire local, they have to pay loads in legal and imiigration fees for visa. Its not too cost effective in terms of the overall overhards to hire and maintain foriegn workers.

This just leads to the fact that maybe there isnt enough local talent to fill the gap.

Its like why would anyone want to import workers at a greater cost if there is local talent/skill available.

DEI is a clever way of disguising anti-white behavior
if people came right out and said we are going to remove caucasians from their jobs,
there would be an uproar

@jj
"employers still prefer to hire foreign workers

hmm, we have some questions here
1) why don't these talented foreigners start their own company
2) why are we allowing these executives who can't build their own product
to continue to su-k up US resources
3) when are you planning on paying down the 38.5 trillion debt

Less than half of Intel's H-1B filings fall within pay level 3 (experienced, at median local pay) and none at pay level 4 (above median local pay). So more than half of Intel's filings are below the local median pay. Intel is not using H-1B to bring in the best or brightest at pay level 4, they are mostly bringing in young, inexperienced and cheaper Indians.

Recent articles show that the Indian migrants are bringing their fraud schemes of paying to add incompetent Indian names onto research papers that go to low grade journals so they can apply for Einstein visas. So even if they apply to Intel with an Einstein visa, chances are they paid for fake credentials and fake achievements. That's global DEI for you. These Indian migrants are truly a rotten bunch.

This is the Indian DEI pipeline for cheap workers. DEI won't be gone until h1b is gone, and this isn't a talent pipeline bringing in the best or brightest.
