Seagate management will just keep cutting people until they hit their income target. It's messed up, but that's what's happening. It seems they don't even care about your worth or if you're working on something important. This company's got some serious issues, and I honestly don't know how the heck it's still standing.

Any HR department in any company is there for the benefit of the company not the employees.Dont think any different.
Dismal end to a long career there. They do this regularly and it's part of their M.O. Definitely not a company who cares for its employees no matter what they say. Poorly managed and HR dept is not there for employees at all - upper mgmt yes but no one else. Look somewhere else.
