I had enough of the mo--ns and the low pay. Right after COVID I got a second job and never looked back. Now i make more than a director and do half as much. I recommend it for everyone. I don't worry about a lousy increase because I still make more than my manager. LOL

I left earlier this year and almost doubled my salary and work with competent leadership who have a plan. Allstate is a complete state but somehow the most incompetent managers and leaders manage to keep dodging the bullets. Now IT only has moth breathers and window lickers left in

@jr As long as you don't have to draft an arbitration against yourself.
@OP I imagine it's pretty pervasive in the IT org
I doubt that poster is lying. I know three people that work claims for Allstate and for another carrier. It is more common than most think. If really efficient one can juggle it.
I actually work two jobs as well. I work for Allstate and I also work for NASA as a astronaut at the same time. It can be a bit difficult at times like when I have to fly the space shuttle but with 5G on my smartphone I can manage it. And I make a lot of coin so its ok.
'Making double the coin' is a real red flag statement. Not only because it's a lie but calling money 'coin' gives real 'i live with my mom' vibes
What is even better is working pretty much the same job for Allstate and another insurance company over the same hours of the day and making double the coin....of course Allstate's pay is less and that is why putting more focus on the other company. :)
@OP Wow! I didn't realise stacking shelves at Costco paid so much!
Quite a few people are working an additional job besides Allstate. If you are good at your job and can do it in half the time, why not work another job?
B S post
So you have 2 jobs? Or do you mean you quit ‘state and work somewhere else? You were such a low performer you never got a raise? You quit ‘state and youre still coming back here years later and gloating or something?
Did something happen to you mentally? Your post is barely coherent babble.
