Be sure to use your Co-Pilot (or other AI tools) at least a few times a day. This is being monitored, measured, and reported directly to your manager. This could be another way to decide who stays and who goes. Source: one of my friends who works on UHC side… their manager actually showed them this report.

@19t The report that was shared shows that you're using it, what form (Copilot, Claude, AzureAI, etc.), the days in the last week you used it, and then utilization/adoption roll-up over the course of 4, 8, and 12 weeks.
@jm what exactly can they see? Just how much you used it or can they see what you are using it for?
F☆ck AI ....track my non usage please
Our manager sends a weekly report of our AI usage and expects us to be at 100%. This isn't new and she's been sending it for a few months now.
Gotta justify the bad decisions somehow.
Who cares! If this is a way to finally be laid off then so be it.
Well now it makes sense why Management seems to be pushing it so much
@ah You're kidding yourself if you think that. Paul Weymouth gets the rollup every week

This is why the teams are being asked to use AI. If AI can do your job, they will let the people go. So awful!
I hope the AI back fires on them.
@bx I don't think it's necessarily a company-wide goal though, but rather departmental goals. For instance OT is mandating 4x per week, however not all of OI is.
Not a secret. It's also one of the 2026 goals.
It's true for my org and I've seen the reports.
100% this is accurate. They monitor it and us 2 times a week, with reports on who is using it, and who is not. We MUST use it a MINIMUM of 4 days a week, or you will ge ta 2 on your review. 100% accurate and from our VP's mouth.
This is not a secret in my group under Optum Tech. We were sent a communication from our VP that this was being done and that we all needed to be using AI / copilot 4 out of 5 days every week.
@a7 Wow! Thank you for sharing. This is fascinating and a little surreal.
This is some Black Mirror sh-t.
@ah it seemed like they were just tracking when users had paid licenses but I have seen this reporting on Optum side as well. Just an fyi
This is why i max out Opus requests on a loop just to make sure the company feels the full financial pain of their bad decisions
This is definitely not true for my dept but I am on the Optum side.
@ae Easy to accomplish. Every morning... first thing, as Copilot to look for messages asking you a question
You need I think 85% or more of target to get a 3. Target being at least 4 times a week
@OP This is a very good post. It's completely true, I was asked to pull reports for my VP (I'm a Sr Dir) and provide metrics all the way down the org.
Well done, so may posts on this site are trolls or nonsense, this one is helpful

You need to play with the filters so you can get down to your own department. Or just download the whole csv and do it through excel.
@a5 where is this site to see everyone’s usage?
They've been tracking AI usage for over a year now. There is even a tracking website you can visit to see everyone's usage. How accurate it is is another story however.
Yea my boss made an odd comment alluding to this during last 1:1. Didn’t outright say it, but I gathered that was in between the lines. SMH
