This is not an HR issue it is a CFO (who knows jack about our business) and the CEO (who also knows less than jack about our business)
Yes my boss is a high ranking but non exec. He too is moaning that his bonus doesn't get paid (and he doesn't get a raise either).
Only the guys with the share options at the top get it every time.
Execs don’t get pay raises. They get bonuses. Executive bonuses are typically announced in May and paid in early June. Contrary to popular belief the large majority managers don’t get bonuses. Senior Manager and Higher could be eligible but the execs cook the books so the bonuses aren’t paid. The formula is based on impossible profit and earning goals. In the ML days he just didn’t pay them even though they were earned. There is a clause that the CEO/Chairman can hold back bonuses on their discretion. But then the board pays out the most senior executive bonuses which are public record in SEC statements.
God I hope so, this company will be doomed to oblivion if we can't hold onto our world class executive team.
We've simply got to funnel more money, more stock options, more swag to them as quickly as possible.

DXC exec cartel imposed 100% tariffs on employee pay years ago, they take all the money from the tariffs on employees for their inflated salaries and bonuses, things have changed now, the Network Team is fighting back like Justin and claud.
Dont expect to unfairly penalize people and expect to get away with it.
Stop spouting morals and ethics. it's about time the seniors followed their own advice and took their own course. Is it morally acceptable to take a rise and bonus when your staff cannot have one? Fair enough if there is no money for rises and bonuses but that needs to apply to everyone from the cleaners to the CEO. But clearly they have no ethics, so cannot expect the staff to behave in the company's best interests.
Executive bonus is contractual, pleb pay reviews and raises are not.

In fact alot of the back office management could be replaced by bots who will give you the usual cost control forms to fill out to stop you doing anything and the "always No" decisions.

If HR was really late and not following her boss (the CEO) orders she woukd havw been replaced long ago.
