I swear that’s all this company is doing. Not to mention that most of these positions are pretty much useless and the company could function fine even if they didn't exist.
Whenever layoffs come all the people that I see getting cut are regular employees, or sometimes a lower manager or two gets thrown in the mix, but other than that all management positions stay practically untouched by layoffs. I would love to see if there was a statistic, the growth of the ratio between management and employee positions. Not that I would personally like for anyone to lose their job, but will we ever see middle management affected by layoffs in a more serious manner?

Op 100% losers in mgt, a few gems here and there. They slow me down and as a technologist it's extremely painful. But hey I can't complain $$$$$ and now I can start working from home permanently
