If I have learned one thing about Anthem during my five years here it is that this company leaves zero room for out-of-the-box thinking or individual contribution. If you are not doing everything the way it has been done for the last who knows how long you are seen as a problem. Don't even think about hitting up your manager with an idea. No wonder we are stagnating.

Pre-Gail, you COULD bring ideas forward. Now, especially in marketing that’s not possible.
@jhe+1apTcWNE - Taking the latest shiny tool and solving the same problem over and over and over again. Those are the ideas that get promoted and that is what blows. I agree with the original poster. There is a perpetual loop of the same ideas with a different pretty bow wrapped around it. Maybe you are a just a skilled gift wrapper.
Interesting, I’ve been with Anthem much longer and my experience is quite the opposite. Perhaps your issue is specific to your Manager? Or maybe, just maybe, your ideas blow!
