Honestly, it is pure comedy.

I am a manager and I can tell you that the ratings in the reports were different than the ratings I gave my team.
Rating on a curve is ridiculous. Only employer I’ve ever known where it’s a bad thing to have too many people who are actually good at their jobs.
Managers had to rate their team on a curve like annual assessments.
Same thing @jfg+1bwmGMeL
Seeing my manager rank me so low was disappointing. If I was that bad, he should’ve mentioned it during any one of a hundred of development meetings we’ve had in the last 5 years. I ranked as advanced on every item despite his ratings of 2 and 3.
This alone is the reason I’ll finally leave after 15 years.
One section says I excel with abstract ideas. The next says I do better with concrete ideas. Another says I lack creativity. The next says I’m creative.
I guess I’m too d-mb to understand it.
My manager left right before these went out, and my new manager who I hadn't even talked to yet at the time of for about a month after, filled mine out... Joke is an understatement.
I actually had all advanced and intermediate results but my manager rated me lower which was really disappointing. Enough to make me feel undervalued and I’ll be leaving ASAP.
Do they even matter?
Amazing insight, thanks! You must have aced the assessment, huh?
Have you gotten yours? Why comical?
