GBD GA is about as close to mutiny as it gets. Talk about a sh*+ show!
I’m not an expert but even I can see that that LOB going straight down the tubes. They don’t care about the company reputation and then leave non management associates to try and smooth the water with the docs, who aren’t blind…
Now we will have to get more creative in our explanation of why the GBD Georgia is so messed up, because you know we’re not allowed to actually TELL THE TRUTH- which is that Elevance ruins everything good it touches.
I expect now the GBD having to conform to BCBS way of doing business AMGP will probably lose that contract too.
Welcome to GA.

I know claims has already sent a lot of workload offshore to either India or Philippines(Carelon global solutions )

Any market that is moving work to Carelon will have lay offs.

GBD Benefits outsourced their team to WiPro, some of the most reliable workers at Anthem are now contingent workers.

I expect that hit to be heavy. That team was already quietly hit a couple of months ago and I suspect it is being hit more heavily this time around. I further suspect the request of deeper cuts contributed to AB's departure, but that's just a guess.

Some will be heavily impacted while other are either not touched or barely affected. It’s all lines of business.
