Anyone else just feeling exhausted and like there's no job security at this company after quarterly layoffs for almost two years now?

@jg they're legally obligated to give you prorated profit sharing for the portion of the year that you were around
@jg Jan 1st. It also depends upon your manager. I've known retired early who got the full year, and RIFd who didn't.
Does anyone know if you still get profit sharing if your an employee in Jan 1st or do you need to wait until it hits the bank in Feb?
How many people are finishing the year to lock in profit sharing and then ghosting ti?
Funny, I recall the day when Managers at TI were walking around in Hawaiian shirts and chumming up to the minions in a cheesy effort to re-recruit them. Now even their jobs are on the chopping block with the current hack mgmt.

@e7 ..exactly why I pulled the early retirement card at the end of 2024...after more than 35 years. Good luck to you all....hoping this market turns for the better soon so the anxiety levels can subside.
@e9 I second this the IEs are not pulling their slack on our shift at all! If indeed that’s who’s taking over to fill the gaps we are in major trouble. One of our is particularly stands up daily and says “oh” I missed that “Oh”. Then no one can find her half the time. :( So, if we lose more people and that who’s supposed to fill in the rest of us will be working twice as hard to make up for their lack of time management and work ethic in general.
@e7 let’s not overlook from the intern program bringing in IEs who hardly know what they are doing or pull their weight! The intern positions listed for hire right now are IE positions. They are saying from their own mouths they are supposed to take over. Half the time the IEs don’t know what they are talking about at the pass downs or ever (with the exception of a couple) They also don’t work with us like they are supposed to. So they think they are going to take most of our positions? The fab will just sink and continue to do so at this rate. Loco!
@dm Yeah the writing was on the wall in 2023 when they had the genius idea of increasing their college internship program by, what, ten bazillion percent? And then at the end of the summer sending out offer letters to almost all of them. They might as well have gotten a bull ho-n and announced, "Hey, older more experienced people: Please make way for your cheap replacements"
It's funny, to save money they fired expert people and hired NCGs, but NCGs are smarter and after understanding TI "values" they decided to leave.
I'm a manger, got people with experience laid off, no explanations, just su-k it up. Got NCGs and now they are leaving. I'm laughing my a-s off and looking for a new job too.
Don't get stuck with TI, look around, there are better places.
Layoff is part of any company cycle, nothing wrong with that. Respect and dignity are part of a company culture, they are not there in TI.
@ad I talked to multiple NCGs last week who are actively interviewing at other companies right now, trying to leave before even their two year mark. They're willing to pay back their sign-on bonuses at this point because of how overworked they are and how abusively they've been treated here.
@OP we've been here before. Yet not too recent NCGs are bailing or thinking of. We'll see if we can retain the talent to be successful in the upturn. Had lunch recently with former colleagues at ADI. They don't just rely on hiring NCGs to keep costs down.
I hate it. Seriously degrading my mental health and despite getting help I'm not doing great. I've had anxiety attacks over small things because of hyper-vigilance.
