@OP Few Senior Directors who does nothing are gone..Many more worthless managers and directors in India to follow..If the leadership feels like they have dodged a layoff..I feel so sorry for you
At F5, they ask us to share Feedback stating that it's Anonymous. Not entirely sure if that's true.

VPs, dirs, take valuable time from engineers for useless meetings and status checks . each of them tries to prove his existence. I have 2 vps above me. fantastic

Microsoft cuts 9000 jobs now, mostly managers and dirs.

We’re getting them out, and we hope we get cooperation from the VPs because we have people that are ready to go out and you can’t have all of these people.
@8ge Most of companies with layers of useless managers have the same problems. Sane people don't give a F about politics. Unless they belong to the AllIndia (TM) tribe or believe in "we are the family" BS.

That's so true. Same thing applies to Senior Directors. Some are not even worthy to be managers were made as Senior Directors.

This is a public forum so F5's employees along with customers, investors and other stakeholders along with the general public can view it. No other tech company I've seen is as out of control as F5, judging purely by thelayoff page. Seems like a wild employer!

Who is "WE"? Managers, ICs? ICs don't give a damn, and rightfully so! They don't get paid for making business decisions. But they get laid off because of the consequences of bad business choices.

Investors must like sleazy as the stock priced keeps climbing I'm not into sleaze so not an investor in f5
F5 has some of the sleaziest people in director and RVP levels. It's crazy that many of them even have a job, considering that some of these business geniuses have been giving away company resources for free; not as part of a package to longtime existing customers, which is something many B2B tech vendors do, but as random one off free products and services, sometimes to non-customers. Very stupid way to run a business.

Thankfully, the next round of layoffs in April should clear out quite a few of those "useless eaters".
Many of so called senior directors are useless. Nobody notices when they are on long holiday. Business as usual or even better when they are not around. The same applies to many managers. Teams are self organised and don’t need distractions.
