Should we consider unionizing to help save the remaining jobs? Are there any tech or companies like ours that are unionized ?

I have connections to UAW - I highly recommend reaching out to them.
I was against it but I looked into it and it is the right change in our actions to defend against their strategy to keep cutting. We should bring them in now. Our families would appreciate it in the long run or you could be next.
Yes but the right union. Teamsters and UAW, can do many types of industries and are huge and tough and get more money. Just google some of their wins in the last few months and how they protect versus layoffs and automation. Call them and they will explain and connect you with members of other companies that you can speak to to show they are successful. They will not fire you for speaking to them as it is your right. Pray that they do and you will be rich when you sue. Call them asap for your family's sake! There is a reason they are maintained by the coworkers everywhere they operate.
@j4 doesn't matter. Retaliation for union organizing is black and white law. CDW would lose.

Union is a great idea! Then they can fire us all at the same time. Much more efficient!
What do I do to get the ball rolling. I have spoken to several in my dept and in others and they definitely want to do this. We just don't know why. I will call them tomorrow and welcome your input.
