Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

When you can't even watch a Reddit video without being ashamed of where you work

Top comment:

State Farm: your roof damage is not hail related.

Further down:

That is exactly what they did to me. Had 2 storms in 2 months, and both claims paid out, but they dropped us, and we couldn't find anyone to pick us back up.
What's th point of insurance if there a risk of losing said mandated insurance at events that we have no control over?
F*ck State Farm
The ice melts - State Farm: clearly this is flood damage & that’s a coverage you don’t have.
I've seen State Farm spend six figures to not replace a customers $30k roof for obvious hail damage. They are very much not a serious company, they're trolls.
I used to work for an independent and we “loaned” an adjuster to SF for a few months. She came back disgusted, said bad faith was standard operating procedure.

And so on...

"Never let anyone in your house, in your car, or with your family unless he is a friend of labor." Jimmy Hoffa.

If you think any mgmyt at SF fits this, you are grossly mistaken. SF is not a friend of labor nor do they care about you!

Speaking of which, if it came down to a fight, I'd side with the blue jeans and not the suits. Picket Lines with workers speaking truth about the company would not only tarnish the ruined reputation but stop their the minion production they rely heavily on. Think about it. Their goal is to shut you up and put you in metrics.

I never looked at owing mgmt anything. I worked for what I got. I wh--e myself to no one and I am not a slave to no one. That's the problem with mgmt. They believe they are owed respect by disrespecting labor. The tables will turn. Watch!

Men in blue jeans owe their employment to women and men in suits.

Men in Blue Jeans built this country. Suits and ties ruined it.

But a military industrial complex MLM model is so cool for Mgt and above - and their “paychecks”

Like a huge Multi Level marketing scheme ad operation anymore

@j3+1js7kzv5v - An adjuster won't come out until the tree has been removed - regardless of home or auto loss. Gotta be able to see the specific damages to write an accurate estimate.

2 claims in 2 months and they dropped you? Who would have thought? You are in the insurance industry and you could not see that coming ? Real low IQ there scooter. Give it 3 years and you should be able to find coverage somewhere.

Superior company, awesome people, claims paid promptly. Don’t listen to the disgruntled snowflake.

The Execs and Directors and above of Tech and Other areas at SF and “partners” are not what you think. It’s like a shady cult of Central Illinois alumni implementing terrible platforms and data and risk management and exploiting employees and policyholders with a “right wing” military “road map” with consulting.

Very sad for a once good org

I talked to a guy the other day who said a tree fell on his car. When he filed his claim they told him he had to take it to a shop for an estimate. The tree is still on the car and they told him he had to take it in to get an estimate and they refused to send an adjuster. This place is turning into an f'd up office sitcom no one wants to watch. I didn't even know what to say to him. Stupid people are promoted and hire more stupid people. It's a circle that cannot be broken. Oh and if you tell them they are stupid you are toxic and the problem. So anyone with a brain just sits on their hands and lets the emperor walk down the lane with no clothes on.

It is obvious they do not care about their internal and external customers.

My first 20 years at SF I used to brag about where I worked and people said yes that is an awesome company. You are lucky! The last 10 years I will not tell anyone who I work for and have even lied. I'm embarrassed and not only dropped my SF insurance, I've made every friend and families cancel their policies too. It is like a satanic cult at this place! This are not good decent people! MT lost $12 billion in 16/17 and then another $27 billion in 22/23 so in his 10 years as CEO he lost almost 40 billion dollars and turned it into a laughing stock ghetto! With those losses, that would have basically bought most of Geico's/controlling shares of stocks. SF has become a complete scam and a complete h-ll hole place to work!
