Curious about the age of everyone who was recently let go.

Anyone let go under the guise of a PIP? I was a good employee and I have the performance reviews to prove it, yet I was subject to a PIP with vague and subjective criteria, unrealistic expectations, and lack of the necessary support to ensure success, effectively setting me up to fail.

@cz it’s on the last page of separation agreement given to those effected by layoff. They’re legally required to supply it to demonstrate compliance with the law.
@2k2 It was not all managers and above. I know several non-management staff who were impacted. I watched them get walked out.
It was all managers and above so yes it's normal. You've got lots of money, you'll be alright.
I was one who had just turned 50 a week earlier. Others let go in my area were similar in age, but they kept the person who was 63....

It would be helpful to see the complete list of those separated as then you would be able to see, but they only provided the areas the employee was from. I suppose you could call and request it.

Everyone I know was over 50. Several people. Anyone under 40 impacted?
They sort of manipulated the numbers. If there was no one else with the exact job title- they didn’t list anyone else. But if the ones that I have seen let go- all but 2 were over 50. Several had recent medical leaves. Coincidence??

@OP Everyone in one department was over fifty, which was shocking to see.

If you’re a person who was effected by the RIF, exhibit A includes the ages and titles of the employees effected by the Separation as required by law (older workers benefit protection act) in the area you worked. In my case there are nine roles effected ranging from 40-62 and there are three of the same title ages 49-52 that were not selected for separation.
