When's the last time you can remember somebody qualified and experienced joined DXC? All the new people either have no idea what they're doing despite being in the industry for years or they have zero experience and it's on the rest of us to teach them the ropes - before they pack up and leave. What's going on here?

When I worked on DXC 5 of the 12 I had were on significantly more than me, with far less responsibility having come from client firms where the rates were at market rate or above. I didn’t get any raises, but I stayed because at the time I enjoyed working with the people. Once I left, I took a 20% pay rise - not that I was looking for a big pay rise - but the market just paid that, so I took it, thanks very much. Since then, we got a straight 4% across the board (no appraisals or pay reviews) to pay for the cost of living increase. We have a CEO who likes to look after everyone. Then a few weeks ago we get another 4% - everyone across the board. No need for pay reviews and the company is doing well. Now this is unheard of in my world. Never happened at DXC and I am wondering why I continued to work for a company that never said thank you or acknowledged you were taking on roles of those who left without any renumeration. Crazy. So you either just keep doing what you always did and expect to get something different, or you leave.
@iul+1m4dFHCZ- Yes, we have all noted your site mate.. it is www.essentialevolutions.com.
Now please stop spamming this site.
They would not pay you a penny worth of raise or bonus, but would be happy to pay double your salary to your backfill you when you leave... and then get BAE to foot the bill... regardless of which account the hire was for ....LOL.
You cannot make this up... beats any farce or satire that the combined creative team of Yes Minister and Fawlty Towers could ever come up with.
Everyone please exit and come back. You will get market rate salary, may be more. Basic revolution.
My experience is that they’re all cr-p. No offence but DXC are scraping the barrel recruiting these days.
I swear a guy who was bang average, you wouldn’t trust him with anything basic let alone complicated, he left DXC, 3-4 years later he’s back on double his salary.
Just let that sink in.
I’ve been in teams where I’ve done work for 4 people, they’ve all been on double my salary.
Wouldn't say the new hires are necessarily cr-p just its a bit cheeky when youre expected to train someone who makes 20-30k a year more than you
