Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Network No Pay increase / No work

Wondering if the Network team is still not working because of no merit increases and if so in what countries as J Monreal in Mexico says DXC is moving forward on Linkedin

If dodgy Bricklehursts delivery poops would have listened to us they would have got a rise. You need to take a stand against this joker.

We all got rises in Networks, none of this favouritism, and bent behaviour by the Networks Management. They played it fair, and we are happy with them.

Another year of nothing for you, moral is dont work hard you guys will get nothing for it. Clock off on time, give no extra for nothing. Make di-klehurst pay.

@1Oyxa+1tVEQPPN You've just proved my point about being naive, you know there is a large part of DXC that isn't ITO, you know the bit that looses less money than ITO.

You're very naïve, try talking to managers. There is precious little managers can do. They get given a tiny budget and can either give their whole team bu---r all or they can give the few who warrant an increase more, either because they are so low compared to others or because they've made the effort or both (sounds like no one in networks makes an effort) and nothing for the rest. So either they upset everyone or upset most but not all. Of course the glorious leaders will wash the hands of the fact they are the ones that allocated the tiny budget and blame the managers.

At least we have decent managers who will go us a raise. Not like ITO dikk managers who will manipulate the merit pot and give it to who they like and to their friends, and exclude other people.

Networks looks after their people, ITO manager f4ck their people. That's why we and our managers are special.

Well some network people will get a chance to have a different boss soon.... if you happen to work on BAE that is.

Not saying that either of the possible bidders will be any more fun to work for than DXC though...

Networks are a bunch of 🤡 that think they are great. Without the other teams networks wouldn’t exist

I wish I was in Networks, good At&T pay rates even without a payrise, supportive managers who give free time off to compensate the DXC sh-t, my colleagues in networks don't have to fill in any bullsh-t approvals that go through layers of approval, or attend useless meetings.

They are treated as an independent unit in DXC.

Place to be if you can get in.

My manager said were not going to get a rise in Networks as we are on higher AT&T rates.
Instead his going to give time off as there's plenty of extra capacity in engineers.

You don't mess with Networks Team.

Network Action pays at boeing.

The union said the offer would increase wages 35% over the four-year life of the contract. It will also increase company contributions to the members’ 401(k) plans

If you join us in Networks we can go far.

See what Boeing will have to pay:

About 33,000 Boeing workers have been on strike since 13 September. The workers’ union had been seeking a 40% pay increase over three to four years, additional benefits and the reinstatement of Boeing’s pension plan. Boeing countered with a 25% pay increase, of which members widely disapproved.

The union later declined to vote on a “best and final” offer from Boeing that would have only delivered a 30% pay increase. Union representatives accused Boeing of being “he-l-bent on standing on the non-negotiated offer” submitted in September.

Is this strike still ongoing, im finding it very difficult to get anything done by highly paid Networks.

We are the best team within DXC, even though some of our guys think were still AT&T, if you folks want a raise more people have to join our campaign, otherwise they will keep us hanging on. In the meantime we are taking time instead of money.

I recently left DXC networks and can confirm this non working is in full flight.

AT&T treated us like a proper company would, our raises were guaranteed every year we were there.

What's currently happening in Networks is a few good people do the little work to do, there's little actual work to do, the not so good ones do nothing or very little that are on strike, some just get left as the good guys are midly busy. Its a bit of closed old boys network.

If they paid properly they would get better results/more for their money.

I'm glad I'm out.

@jikj+1tVEQPPN your contradicting yourself, we are on strike, we don't protest outside buildings, buildings have gone.

You correctly say
"making it hard for us to get our projects completed"

That's what we do, we don't do things, that's our strike until we get paid.

You must be an ITO loser/alicker up the rear.

D: @ireg+1tVEQPPN your not on strike ! If you were really on strike you wouldn’t come to the office and would make it public.

You are just a bunch of unprofessional sissies making it hard for us to get our projects completed

If you were really on strike and not doing any work , the company should fire you on the spot with no severance as you don’t have a recognized Union.

If you don’t like the way you’re treated then quit !

We are still on strike they can't mess with us, you've got to remember we got yearly rises at AT&T were used to annual merit and bonus, we can't been denied in DXC without consequences.

If DXC staff also took a stance with us they would have to pay, its 5 months now this year and they still have paid, its a joke.

Please join us.

I don’t believe Netwoeks in UK aren’t doing any work , because if that were true you all be fired in the spot

So only the Network team in the UK should be fired immediately for no work !
