Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Look for a Savior ?

All of us... Yes all of now represent the Brand. In fact it's gone as far as to ask Engineering to do a sales presentation as a part of their evaluation from what I understand. Is this despiration ? We need to explain it to the customer.....? If so we are up Po-p Creek.

OP: Many of the customer program mangers @iqh referred to started out in engineering. I'm a senior program manager that crossed over from engineering and would agree that developing your presentation skills only broadens your future employment prospects whether in Honeywell or at another company.

OP: It might seem new to you but engineering has been involved with sales presentations forever. I'm an engineer and have worked on dozens of them, typically with program managers.
My participation included technical assistance putting the presentation together in the early ones and later on actual participation in it with the program managers to the customer. It's a good skill set to learn and to add to your resume.

Second verse same as the first.

If we pass the test do we all get promoted to "Senior _______" like they did for mgrs?

Honeywell doesnt have enough people to meet customer commitments now.
Pretty sure i saw an HR person at the mexicali border with a school bus that said
