Why are the old folks so insecure when new people join the team.

Same reason why they still use brick and mortar buildings and in office staff... Because they are stuck in the old mindset that is dying quickly.
I have seen senior people without knowledge of basic concepts. Only good at talking and Sugar coating. Can’t we be natural and be appreciated for only our good work.
We're worried that the young folks might ask questions like, "why do you do X when it would be so much better to do Y?"
And there is no good reason except, "because we've always done it that way".
@ima+1iixQHci Exactly . Upper management favor only old folks. People here prefer less work and more talk.
Because it hinders their self preservation techniques and upper management pretends not to notice.
