@ilac+1pi7PyJy, entitled. Dang right i feel entitled. So many people go in everyday & work their behinds off. Some are capped. Some still get a miniscule 2% raise... 2%!!!!
A leftover bundt cake as "appreciation" for struggling through each day to make those above store level richer.
This is one of the biggest money making companies in the world. They're cutting out bonuses for store level associates, not increasing their pay to keep up with the cost of living, increasing the already impossible workload on hourly associates, all while their bank accounts grow larger.
In past years, our club manager would have a thanksgiving meal for associates on the saturday before thanksgiving. This year nothing because he was instructed not to spend anything on associate relations. What a great bunch of people we work for!!!!
Imagine we are a multi-billion dollar company and thats the best they can do? No wonder they can't retain the new hires, they see the cr-p we have to put up with, always over worked and under staffed. The old timers are your most dependable and hardest woking associates that keep us afloat.
Yet that's what we get? Everyone i know says they can keep it and ????? ??
So many intitled people on here. How can u complain about something that someone gives u for free?🤣
We never received anything for Thanksgiving before 2 years ago. First a turkey and then last year a ham. I guess this year a bunt cake next year a box of stuffing.
next year will be a bottle of water from the cafe.
i wont pick mine up..they can stick it up their a-s...no thanks
Dear home office You can keep your cake while you fly to some extravagant vacation during the holidays. We won't need it, we will be working because of the key events Happy Holidays !!!
This my second year with no turkey.. Of course I left last August so maybe thats why ! lol
Marie-Antoinette said it along time ago. To her own people "Let them eat cake". Shows you what they think of us.
Predictable.
As long as associates allow corporate to push whatever on them & take more & more from them, they'll continue.
