Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

RTO

Is anyone else being dragged back to their office? I don’t understand why my team now has to do this when we’ve proven to be successful and profitable without the cubicle and 1970s corded phone for at least 3 years now. I’m distraught…

This has to be a troll. We have been RTO for some time. If you take a few minutes to scroll down the overall WF thread on this site, you’ll find everything you need to know about looking good on the RTO report. I found a way to make it work for me and spend about 10 hours in the office every week. I look awesome on the report so all is well.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

The docking station does not have a Ethernet cord so you are connecting via Wi-Fi. The docking station allows dual monitors and to provide power to your laptop.

my docking station is hardwired in so unless I take my laptop to a conf room for a meeting which almost never happens because all my meetings are on teams they won't be able to track me via WiFi, that isn't to say however they can't see and log my activity through that. what I think really happens is they take a badge reason and then see if you logged into via lan and not VPN to corroborate

Anything is possible, but many thousands of employees don't use company wifi, and believe or not, there is work that happens with no computer / internet at all, so it can never really be a hard requirement.

My manager told the team that they are tracking the time on if you are in the office using how much time you are using the wf office Wi-Fi. so full compliance is 24 hours with the office Wi-Fi per week. If you are using vpn it doesn’t count. Not sure if this is scare tactic or true.

You poor thing. Not only should you be able to work from home, you should get free house cleaning services, and a personal shopper for groceries. Bless your heart.

FRTO and everyone supporting it. Their scheme has already failed and it will only get worse from here.

Is your area full? I feel like some people are not showing up.

Been back since March of 2022. Yes, it sucks. No it doesn’t make sense. No, you don’t have to like it. No, you don’t have to accept that we “work better together”. Yes, they are actively tracking it. Yes, management is officially coaching on it if you end up on the naughty list. Yes, it is petty. Yes, it is stupid. Yes, I am complying. No, I’m not a collaborator or KoolAid drinker. Yes, I am waiting them out. Yes, I want my severance. Yes, I deserve it. No, they don’t deserve me.🖕🏼

Oh, are people going back to the office? You'd think they would have discussed it on here before.
