To those of you talking about training meetings the way this will happen varies by department. In our department we received an impromptu meeting added to our calendar with a high tier boss for our team the same day. Then a on camera zoom meeting with this person to explain you out and the terms. I hope you all fair better than I. To those stating it’s a quality issue I personally have exceeded expectations on all audits and work and constantly above expectations for numbers so it’s not that.
Fake news
Hoping with this layoff they get rid of all the employees who are getting paid to do nothing while others are busting their a-s.
I think it’s necessary; there are people in this organization that really don’t do anything all day! 4 out of 8 employees in every department take the full brunt of the work because they have the skills. I lived through that for 3 years where I was overwhelmed and overworked while others sat on their hands. Learn new skills and you will make it in any organization.
Honestly, this had to happen.. There are people with zero initiative and accountability. I've been asking myself what some people do for a real long time. Lets hope they trim some off the top as well. There are people in leadership roles that are incompetent. Maybe I'll get a reply to my emails now?
The “Director” is wrong. The training from HR was to give people leaders the training they need to give the bad news to staff. You won’t have a meeting with HR, it’ll be with your boss.
Since the HR script has been leaked, they may handle it differently now. Each leader received talking points earlier today due to the leak. They are supposed to be sharing it with their staff. I see the numbers already posted in here so confirming 2k employees (3% of staff)
@hyc+1oNP40ky 3% is only the "official" number.
Is the training coming from Centene University? "Emotional Intelligence"?
CEO Sarah London has confirmed 2,000 (3%) layoffs
Not a 20% cut....just over 3% cut. Big difference.
Director really wrote in last comment? Any truth to what they are saying?
There is a major cut coming with the effective date being early December. Operations will be severely impacted mainly on the Amisys side. Xcelys still has some but nowhere close to Amisys. Leaders are awaiting the final lists and should be getting them the next few days. If you receive a meeting from HR regarding "training" this will be your clue that you have been laid off.
20% of what? when? and where did you get this info, besides out of your a$$? people come to these boards for real info that affects their careers, not fear-mongering trolls.
On what information is this based? Another poster mentioned this same supposed cut then never backed it up.
